Founded in 2002, Emoderation was set up by Tamara Littleton to deliver high-quality multilingual community management and UGC moderation services, social media consultancy, social listening and social media crisis management to clients in a wide range of industry sectors.
We work with clients in the following sectors: automotive, kids’ brands, entertainment, gaming, FMCG, financial services, luxury brands, retail, fashion, media, pharmaceutical, publishing, and telecomms.
In 2013, Tamara co-founded social media simulations company, Polpeo, to help brands navigate the pitfalls of social media successfully through live simulations, and safeguard their reputations online.
Emoderation was listed at no.65 in The Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100 in September 2014.
We have grown into one of the world’s most respected social media management agencies, with offices in London, New York, Los Angeles, Miami and Sydney. Staffed by over 350 trained social media professionals, including UGC moderation, community management and social listening teams, Emoderation offers services in over 50 languages.
The brands, agencies and charities we work with
We’re very happy to be working with some of the world’s best-known brands (including MTV, ESPN, HSBC, Hyundai, Smirnoff, The LEGO Group, the Oprah Winfrey Network, Sprint and The Economist).
We also work with leading digital agencies (for example, Starcom MediaVest, Wieden + Kennedy, Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB Worldwide, Crispin Porter + Bogusky and Publicis Group).
Our people are key to our success and excellent client list. We take great pride in our staff, and they are happy to work for us. We carefully recruit and train moderators, community managers and social media managers, who are located throughout the world and who have excellent language skills. Their skills and experiences are matched to our client projects, and this makes a real difference to the quality of our work. All our staff are CRB checked regularly.
Emoderation is proud to be a member of the Internet Watch Foundation, the UK Council for Child Internet Safety (UKCCIS) and the UK Direct Marketing Association (DMA). CEO Tamara Littleton was shortlisted for the 2013 and 2014 First Women Awards in the Media category.
