eModeration Launches Live Events Packages

Interaction with social media has become an intrinsic part of staging a live event, and in response to this, eModeration has launched a live events social media package.

 

The modular Live Events package includes:

 

  • Live chat moderation. Participants in an event, either those attending the event, following it online or watching it on their television, can comment in real time on the action with their posts showing up on a TV screen, webpage,  Facebook page or Twitter feed. eModeration moderates comments - either spoken or written - as they come in so there is no perceptible delay between the message being created and being shown. The company’s specialised live chat moderation team is able to cover streamed to delete inappropriate content or block users at events with:

•    Live text-to-screen  moderation, using tools such as Cover It Live

•    Live Twitter moderation, using tools such as Twitterfall and Paratweet (aggregated twitter streams)

•    Live audio moderation, using tools such as Audioboo (aggregated audio).

 

  • Live Chat Selective moderation. During an event, content is cherry-picked for onscreen display or to be responded to by presenters/bloggers working in conjunction with the events team.  eModeration’s team of specialists ensures that the live chat stays topical with on-screen events, works closely with the brand’s editorial staff to understand its requirements, and stays in constant contact during the event in order to change direction as needed.

 

  • Community management and moderation before, during and after the event. This service includes live pre-or post-moderation of company forums, social network pages (such as Facebook and YouTube) and branded online communities, before, during and after the event is staged. Expert moderators and community managers also run an alert system to notify the brand of any posts that require immediate action or addressing during or after the event.

 

  • Live event hosting. eModeration’s hosting services include multilingual 24/7 event hosting of Twitter feeds and Facebook Pages (especially useful when  events may be during unsocial hours for the regular brand team). Specialists manage social media communities through the event, and run live tweeting in the brand's voice (including retweeting and hashtagged content, responding to followers, and tweeting commentary supplied by the brand).

 

  • Consultancy and risk assessment. At the planning stage of an event, eModeration’s live event team will offer consultancy to the brand staging the event, including an analysis of what levels of management or moderation might be needed, and an assessment of the level of risk in live streaming.
