You are all incredibly busy people. Especially since spending at least some of yesterday ignoring the work piling up, and instead, tweeting, thanking, watching and reading all the wonderful words of advice on various aspects of community management which flooded every corner of the web during the third annual Community Management Day (#CMAD). It gets bigger each year, and this year it was HUGE!
So I’ll keep this brief and make my job easier by just showchasing the #CMAD events which we were personally involved in
If you’re playing catchup with #CMAD, they are actually great places to start.
Community Manager Appreciation Day 12 Hour #cmgrhangout #CMAD
Major props to @laurahoots @houseofbrew @sherrierohde for running all 12 hrs of the MyCommunityManager #CMGRhangout – whilst MyCmgr.com‘s founder @tamcdonald used the feeble excuse of getting married that day to absent himself
They, and all their guests, did a seriously amazing job. A team (including myself) from eModeration joined in with iFroggy’s Patrick O’Keefe on the ‘Moderating forums’ session and I think we gave some really useful information – see below.
